Vattenfall will invest in three areas in order to meet the expectations placed on the company: a customer and business-oriented organisation, sustainable production and sustainable consumption, writes Magnus Hall in a debate article in Dagens Industri.
In his article, Magnus Hall also points out that “Vattenfall needs a clearer picture of how the company is to lead the energy transition, and we must adopt a more long-term planning approach in order to meet all the expectations placed on the company with greater success. We have consequently developed a strategic vision for Vattenfall which clarifies how we are to become leaders of the energy transition”.
The vision comprises three areas: a customer and business-oriented organisation, sustainable production and sustainable consumption.
Hall writes “I am convinced that Vattenfall will continue to play an important role in optimally satisfying the energy needs of our customers and the wider society even in the future. Only by listening to our customers and acting as a leader in the energy transition can we at Vattenfall sustain the preconditions for our continued success and for assuring a good return to the Swedish state”.
